RECENT EVENT: HISTORIC HOLLAND STREET CLEAN-UP (FALL 2007)Despite grey skies and chilly winds,well over 100 students (a record for Holland Street clean-ups since 2002!) from Academy I Middle School andMcNair Academic and High Tech high schools came out on Saturday, November 3, 2007 to help clean and raise awareness about Hudson County’s most beautiful historic street!
* This special community service event was sponsored by Sustaining Architectural Vitality in the Environment (SAVE), Riverview Neighborhood Association (RNA), Save the Palisades (savethepalisades.org), Heights Hope Neighborhood Association and Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy (JCLC). Special thanks and recognition are extended to Mr. Ross, Mr. Kelly and Mr. Boylan of Academy I Middle School in Jersey City for getting the AEP students out!
